THE “RAPTURE 7” STORY
Rapture 7 was originally formed for the purpose of performing at a local food drive in Carbondale, Illinois,
organized by IOTA fraternity Inc. at Southern Illinois University. That initial appearance received such an
overwhelmingly positive response from the community, leading to requests for performances at churches,
city events, and numerous other venues.
Since that time, the musical ministry of Rapture 7 has grown in popularity and scope. Rapture 7 garnered
first place in the nation-wide group competition in Anderson, Indiana. The group went on to receive
recognition as “Best Group” at the Illinois Quartet Convention Competition. This increased recognition
lead to Rapture 7 opening for talents such as The Williams Brothers, Commissioned featuring Fred
Hammond and Marvin Sapp, Ethel Holloway, and other national gospel artist.
Due to their creative abilities and unique style, which includes a gospel, R&B, neo soul, and jazz flavor,
Rapture 7 has ventured into many musical arenas including churches, coffee houses, clubs, fair grounds
and larger venues. The group’s ability to bridge the gap between gospel and secular is demonstrated in
their remake of the Stylistics classic “People Make The World Go ‘Round”. Rapture 7 was recognized at
the Eat’m Conference in Las Vegas, where they performed at the legendary Desert Inn and gained the
attention of Narada Micheal Walden (produced works by Whitney Houston, Temptations and Aretha
Franklin’s Freeway of Love). The group’s self-titled CD captured the attention of Parliament Records
CEO Ben Weisman, who signed the group to his label and recently released their CD on Parliament
Entertainment Records. Rapture 7 recently completed a new CD entitled “Security” (www.securityrap7.
com) which will be released fall of 2010.
Rapture 7 takes the message they seek to communicate with their audience very seriously. Their sincere

BISHOP JOE SIMON, THE LEGEND,

DURING THE MID 1980’S, JOE BECAME MORE AND MOREDISENFRANCHISED WITH THE MUSIC INDUSTRY AND THE LIFESTYLE THAT SURROUNDED MANY ASPECTS OF IT. 

 HE BEGAN A SEARCH TO REDISCOVER WHO HE REALLY WAS AS A PERSON.  HE BEGAN TO READ THE WORD OF GOD, AND SLOWLY HIS NEW CALLING IN LIFE TOOK FORM.  JOE RELATES THE   EXPERIENCE: “I HAD EVERYTHING A MAN COULD WANT IN LIFE, IN A MATERIAL WAY, BUT IT DIDN’T FILL THIS CERTAIN VOID I KEPT EXPERIENCING. 

THE DEFINING MOMENT CAME WHEN I READ STUNNING WORDS OF THE APOSTLE PAUL – A VERY AFFLUENT, BRILLIANT AND SCHOLARLY MAN OF HIS DAY, WHO HAD STUDIED AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ROME, AND SPOKE FLUENTLY FOURTEEN LANGUAGES.  PAUL REALIZED THAT AS GREAT AS THEY WHERE, HIS PERSONAL ACCOMPLISMENTS WERE NOT VERY IMPORTANT AS HE WRESTLED WITH THE QUESTIONS OF ETERNITY. 

I WAS ASTONISHED WHEN I READ PHILIPIANS 3:8 – “I COUNT IT ALL AS DUNG”.  IT WAS THEN THAT I SAW MYSELF.  SUDDENLY ALL THE THINGS THAT I HAD ACCOMPLISHED IN LIFE WERE PUT INTO PERSPECTIVE.  I EVEN WROTE A SONG ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE ENTITLED, “ THINGS DIDN’T SAVE ME”.  MY JOURNEY HAD BEGUN AFTER A PERIOD OF INTENSE BIBLE STUDY AND PREPARATION, I PREACHED MY FIRST SERMON AS A MINISTER TO 4,500 PEOPLE ON SEPTEMBER 12, 1988, AN EVENT THAT WAS REPORTED IN JET MAGAZINE.  I CONTINUE TO TRAVEL AND MINISTER TO THIS DAY WITH MY “EVANGELISTIC COMMUNITY CRUSADES”. 

TODAY I CAN ATTEST THAT MY GREATEST JOY IN LIFE WAS THE DAY I MET CHRIST.”

Davon Johnson has “A New Life” as Apostle J. Dancy who was formerly known as Jusvon around the world. He was born in Los Angeles California and grew up in Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay area. He started playing drums at a very early age. At age 14 he had his first professional studio experience with the Legendary Taj Mahal. From that experience he went to play with such Legends as Z.Z. Hill, Zora Young, Smokie Wilson, Sun Seals, Lee Shot Williams, Artie White, Brenton Wood, The Drifters, Percy Sledge, The Platters, Walter Cook and The Sweet Singing Cavaliers. He was the Drummer and Band Leader for Otis Clay. He also played with Sugar Blue formerly from the Rolling Stones, Michael Harris and Louis Satterfield from the Phoenix Horn section of Earth, Wind and Fire, Little Milton, Tyrone Davis and The Legendary Buddy Scott out of Chicago Illinois.

Apostle J. Dancy now lives his life for the Lord Jesus Christ as a Minister of the Gospel and as a Minister of Gospel through Music. He gave his life over to the Lord in 2006 and have been a changed man ever since. He worships the Lord and chooses to make Heaven his “Forwarding Address” at “The Feet of Jesus”.  Under the Pastorialship of Chief Apostle Michael L. Rowles and First Lady Nicole Rowles he has “Found Love” as a “Child of God” at Wrecking Crew For Christ Holiness Trauma Center. So whatever you do, don’t sleep on this Man of God because this particular c.d. without a shadow of a doubt has a word for you from the Lord.

Apostle J. Dancy while in the world working as “Jusvon” has had the privilege of working venues with such artist as B.B. King in Europe and the United States also along with Jeff Healy. He played on the same venues with Robert Cray at the Warfield Theatre. He worked venues with The Blues Brothers in Sicily and with George Benson in Illinois. While on tour working with Otis Clay he had the opportunity to play on the same venues with Bobby Blue Band on numerous occasions. He also performs at the Greek Theatre in Rome with Otis Clay. You can also find Jusvon (now Apostle J. Dancy) on several videos done in Europe with Mr. Otis Clay, and at the San Diego Street Scene with Otis Clay and Wilson Pickett.

Apostle J. Dancy also played with the Late Big Henry Johnson formerly from the Five Blind Boys and the Mighty Clouds of Joy. He has had the pleasure of working on the largest Blues Cruise in the World with the Late Great Charles Brown and the Late Great Junior Wells. He also had the pleasure of working in Turkey on the same venue with the Late Great Johnny Copeland for 2 weeks.

Apostle J. Dancy has now launched a new solo career with his new C.D entitled “A New Life” on Parliament Records. He is now a highly sought after Gospel vocalist preparing for a national tour. There are so many experiences that Apostle J. Dancy has encountered in his life and he just wants to share his testimony and gift with the World.

Apostle J. Dancy plans to continue his writing and co-writing with/for some of the worlds leading gospel producers and vocalist. APOSTLE J. DANCY SONG DISCRIPTIONS

     1. Somebody’s Calling – There are many voices that call out to us at different times and circumstances in this day and time. Question is…which ones or one do we listen to? Do we listen to the still small voice of God? (1 King 19:12) Do we listen to The Voice of Truth?

 2.    God Is – This song speaks of God being righteous and just. He is the Sovereign Ruler and Creator of the Universe. And through all His wondrous works, He thinks of me, He walks with me, and He sent His only begotten Son to die for me; forgiving my sin so that I can spend eternity with Him. He’s my all and all. It is Him that i need and adore

 3.    Child of God – The life I used to live, I don’t live it anymore. When one receives Christ in their life, they no longer walk in the darkness but in the light. God is Light and I’m His Child. If anyone asks you who I am, tell them that I’m a child of God. “Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God”. (John 1:12)

 4.   Safe in His Grace – Sometimes we as humans are very quick to pass judgment on others. Truth is…there is no one who is better than the other. Some hear the Gospel of Christ and receive it. However, there are those that hear and do not receive. But then there are those who hear the gospel, believe it, and live and act as if they did not receive. Do we really know if they received? Were they covered by the blood of Jesus? Only God knows the heart!

 5.   I Found Love – Sometimes you sit and think about things, especially when someone has done something for you that keeps on giving! It makes you want to continue to do for them. No matter where you go or what you do, the thing they did for you and the One who did it, speaks volumes through you. There is so much that one wants to say when the LORD saves them. He was never lost, and you find that the love of God is revealed through Jesus His only begotten Son.

 6.    A New Life –God gives a spiritual birth from heaven. Then you make a conscious decision to press forward following Jesus always in His strength, stamping out the old nature every day, while counting all of the past worldly accomplishments as nothing without Christ. He gave me a brand new life, through the shedding of His blood on Calvary.

 7.     He Loves You too – Not only does God love me, but He loves you too! (John 3:16) Now…for those of us who have received the LORD Jesus as our personal LORD and Savior, we are commissioned to take the Gospel of Christ out into the world to the ends of the Earth making disciples of all nations. Each person is your neighbor and everyone has a right to hear the Gospel of Christ Jesus. 

 8.   At the Feet – We go through the hustle and bustle of everyday life, from the work place to the video games, and these are important…but, when it is all said and done, there’s one place that truly matters…and that is at the feet of Jesus; drawing closer to Him through His Word, meditation and prayer… (Luke 10:41-42)

 9.    Jesus Loves Me – What is love? Is it a feeling or a commitment? Where do we find it? Do we find it online, at a Supermarket, in or at a public place? No! We find love at the cross of Christ.

    10. I’ve Been Here – Most of us (human beings) wind up believing in God and receiving Him in our lives because of His grace as our personal LORD and Savior later in the life we’ve been given. Going through things, taking credit for everything we do except for the bad things of course! And, all along, even before the beginning, God was here. There’s no excuse not to receive Him. “Before the mountains were born or You brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting You are God”. (Psalms 90:2)

 11. Forwarding Address – In these days and time, it’s good to know that there is hope. People are losing their jobs, homes and even losing their families because of greed. But, Jesus said He is going to prepare a place for those who believe, so where He is we can be also. And because of Him, we share our new address with everyone that we can… Heaven!!!

 12. Jesus is King – We were all created with a desire to worship (someone or something). Question is…who do you want on the throne of your heart? Who or what is on the pedestal in your life? (Exodus 20:3-7). Once we know the truth, there’s only one answer…The LORD Almighty…Jesus.

 13. Jesus Is LORD – “That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is LORD,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Rom. 10:9) “Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth. And every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father.” (Phil. 2:9-11) Recognize that you’ve sinned, turn to Jesus…He’s the only way!!!

 14. If You Really – Say what you mean-mean what you say! If you talk the talk then walk the walk! Do most people honor Him with their lips, but their hearts are far from Him? (Isaiah 29:13) Time is too short to “fake jake”. If you really want to live for Christ then say what you mean and mean what you say. If you talk the talk then walk the walk. Do what’s pleasing in His sight.

 15. Hold On to Jesus – When trials and tribulations come our way, we should not become anxious for anything; this is easier said than done sometimes; but don’t stress. We are never alone…we have Jesus! He will see us through whatever may come.

THE WINDS OF FATE
Winds Of Fate is a unique gospel inspirational group from the heart Milwaukee, Wl with special and memorable music talent.

The WINDS OF FATE is a family of three generations starting with Myrtle Fitzpatrick keyboard and voice trainer and mother of Peggy Fitzpatrick lead vocalist and background and also Edna Fitzpatrick singer, songwriter, and background vocalist. Edna also has two daughters in the group who are Latoya Fitzpatrick lead singer and background and Chanel Fitzpatrick a small woman with a large voice who does lead and background vocalist.

WINDS OF FATE members also share the likely natural born gift of abilities and interests in music all the way down to music lessons throughout member's school years to always being part of band or the school choir to church and community choirs. Local and out of state talent shows and won statewide events. Along our road we've opened for headline act like the wonderful Howard Hewitt and shared times with Aretha and camped out with Aretha's band and her great orchestra conductor and producer H.B. Barnum of Los Angeles California. We performed on stage with great band members Larry Moore music arranger, composer and writer of music for Walt Disney. We have also worked with Mr. Ernie Adams a drummer for Mr. Ramsey Lewis.

The WINDS OF FATE was chosen for years 2005,2006,2007 by the Wisconsin area music industry called the WAMI awards as best gospel Christian artists in the state of Wisconsin.  I should mention it  was because of the loved and respected sounds of WINDS OF FATE that Christian gospel became a category in the WAMI awards in Wisconsin. 


Pat Nettesheim a board of the WAMFs was invited by Edna to one of the WINDS OF FATE rehearsals. He loved what he heard and said he would address the rest of the board and ask that a gospel category be added to the list of musical categories and now it is a regular category in the WAMI awardsWINDS OF FATE new self entitled cd on Parliament Entertainment Records (percd013008) is being released for national distribution by Central South Dist.

Gospel Recovery Ministry

The Chosen Gospel Singing and Recovery Ministry consists of a team of men and women delivered and set free from the bondage of drug and alcohol abuse. Chosen has been inspired to reach out to all communities to provide coordinated special events, share pertinent information, education and resources regarding social and spiritual support for people in active addiction.

Chosen was formed in early 2002 by Darlene Watley with the assistance of Regina Christian. Former members of S.A.D.A.A. (Sistah’s Against Drugs and Alcohol Abuse), Darlene and Regina have an extensive background and a broad range of experience.

Some of their major accomplishments and past performances include: The 1998 Mac Donald’s Gospel fest winners, The Bobby Jones Gospel fest at Disney land, the Glory awards at West Angeles, and the inspiration of women award. They have performed at the Black business expo, the African market place, the shrine auditorium, the Ebel Theater, the Dorothy Chandler pavilion, for Fox television and numerous Churches, spiritual retreats, recovery homes, domestic violence programs, and group homes though out Los Angeles County.

Darlene, Regina, Cookie and Queen were inspired to take the message back to the community, our desire is to coordinate special events thus allowing us to engage with drug addicted individuals planting new seeds of hope that they too are children of GOD, and can recover.

My Story I'm Sister Maxine West, let me take you on a little tour of my life's history. I started singing at the age of five.

There were so many times that my brothers and sisters were outside playing and my father would keep me inside to train my voice. He would always say that he saw something special in me. After reaching the age of fourteen we formed a family group. Paul Beasley and Tally of the Gospel Keynotes started training me.

A few years later, I moved to Dallas, Texas and received a little training from the late Bro. Jimmy Jones of the Mighty Clouds of Joy. Rev. Gean West, was also an influential part of my singing ministry. I've had some ruff times, but through it all, I'm glad that God has anointed me to sing his praises. That's why whenever I sing, if I had arms. long enough, I would reach out and embrace the whole audience.

God has given me a love for people that is unexplainable. I made the Lord a promise that I'll never forget from where I come.

My advice for you all is to remember no matter how dark it gets in your life, God holds the light. May he bless and keep you in my prayers eternally
